These terms cover in-home technology help from Home Base Repair LLC (Home Base), based in Spring Hill, FL. They are written in plain English. If anything here is unclear, call or email me before you book.
Prices
- Prices on this site that say “from” are where most visits start.
- I tell you the full price before I start, and I only do the work you agree to.
- Parts are priced separately, and I tell you the part price before I order it.
- There is no trip fee anywhere in the service area.
Your devices and your data
- Please back up anything important before a visit if you can. I help with backups when I can, but I can't promise data comes back from a device or drive that has failed.
- I only access your accounts with your permission and while you are there.
- I never ask you to say your passwords out loud or write them down for me.
What I don't do
- Hardwired electrical work, in-wall wiring, and alarm systems. Those need a licensed contractor.
- Warranty repairs that the manufacturer (for example, Apple) has to do.
Other companies' products
Devices, apps, internet service and subscriptions come from other companies. Their own terms, warranties and fees apply, and they bill you directly.
Changing or cancelling a visit
If you need to change or cancel a visit, call or text me as early as you can.
